On this week's ICC Cricket World audio show, former captain Mike Gatting discusses England's chances in the Ashes series which starts in Brisbane on 25 November.

Gatting, who is the last England captain to win the Ashes in Australia in 1986-87, says: "I am very sure that it is not going to be about any one person on either side that is going to make a difference.

"I think it will be about how well the team plays together. You can look back at the fact that Kevin Pietersen, when he was in Australia last time, played really well. But it didn't help England and we lost 5-0.

"To me and from England point of view, it is going to be about the team. And they really have to play well as a team in all departments. That to me is the key."

Gatting, who played 79 Tests and 92 ODIs for England, talks about the importance of the Ashes series to both sets of players. He says: "It is special for the two countries because they have been playing it for so long.

"And it doesn't matter which side of the fence you are. There is always a buzz about the Ashes. In the last four years there has been some wonderful cricket in the Ashes series. The Ashes have gone forward and backward to England and Australia. This time around you might well see it staying with England."

The show can be used in whole or part by radio stations that want cricket content, while the public can also download it straight from the ICC website at http://www.icc-cricket.com/media_interactive_zone/podcast.php.

Also featuring in the edition is Australia fast bowler Brett Lee who talks about ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 which is just over three months away.

The 34-year-old from New South Wales says: "As I mentioned before, it is the cream of the crop when you talk about 50-over World Cup cricket.

"For me, personally, if we are lucky enough to raise the trophy in India, it might be a great little swansong. It might be a great way to go out. But there is so much more cricket left to be played yet leading up to next March. It will be a great place to play cricket."

Joining Gatting and Lee on this week's show are Kuwait captain Hashim Mirza and Germany captain Asif Khan who reflect on the Pepsi ICC WCL Div.8 final which Kuwait won by six wickets. Both the sides joined Japan, Botswana, Norway and Nigeria in the Pepsi ICC WCL Div.7 which will be staged at the beginning of May 2011 in Botswana.

Apart from the above interviews, the show has the usual round up of cricketing news and an update of the Reliance Mobile ICC Player Rankings for Test and ODI cricket.

The weekly ICC Cricket World audio show runs for 15 minutes and has been put together by the ICC's global broadcast partner ESPN STAR Sports.
