Guernsey U17 squad announced for games against Netherlands U17 Challenge Series

The players who will feature in the games against the visiting Netherlands U17 side have been confirmed. The games form part of the ICC Europe U17 Division 1 Challenge Series and will be played as follows:

Tuesday 17th July50 over game at Port Soif starting 11.00pm
Wednesday 18th July50 over game at KGV starting 11.00am
Thursday 19th JulyT20 game at KGV starting 10.00am

The game on Tuesday at Port Soif will be supported by ABN AMRO through their local office. ABN AMRO are the main sponsor to the KNCB and locally support the GCB Disability Programme. The most recent example of this was the trip to Hove by a party from Le Murier School to take part in the Sussex CCC Disability Day. The children from Le Murier will be at Port Soif on Tuesday to play in an exhibition Kwik Cricket game starting from 1.15pm.

GCB CEO Mark Latter said, ?we are delighted to welcome Roland Lefebvre and his Netherlands side here to Guernsey at the start of a hectic period for local cricket and we hope the weather will finally be kind. These games will be a tremendous test for our guys and will provide a measure of where we are currently in our development progress. Having ABN AMRO come along and support us is fantastic and it will be great to see the cricketers from Le Murier School there as well.?
