Handbook for Classic Mode

Dream Williamson
Dream Williamson

As always, a user will have the option of taking part in the Classical Mode, where he/she will create one team for the entire tournament, with players being traded before each round.

What is a round? A set of five games will constitute a round in ICC Dream11. A user can make unlimited changes to his/her Fantasy Team before the start of the first game of the first round, but the number of trades will reduce as the tournament progresses. He is allowed only 5 free trades after the end of each round and the start of a new one - and if there is an additional trade, 10 fantasy points will be deducted from the user’s points in that round. If he does not use all his 5 trades in a round, it will NOT be carried forward.

How to make a team: Select 11 players from all 10 teams participating in the World Cup within a budget of 100 credits. A maximum of 7 players from a team is allowed in the Fantasy team. The constituents of the team will be as such:
a) Minimum 1 & Maximum 2 Wicket-keepers
b) Minimum 3 & Maximum 5 Batsmen
c) Minimum 1 & Maximum 3 All-rounders
d) Minimum 3 & Maximum 5 Bowlers

Each team should have a Captain, who will earn 2X of the fantasy points, and a Vice-captain, who will earn 1.5X Fantasy Points. In additional to these, the user will also be given four power-ups before the start of each round. Triple Captain, Triple Vice-Captain, Super Striker and Bowling Machine are the names of the free hits, and it can be employed before the start of a match in a round. These free-hits will be reactivated after the end of each round, and any unused free hit will NOT be carried forward.
