ICC Africa announce appointments for T20 Div 3

The ICC Africa regional office announced the umpire appointments for the ICC Africa T20 Div 3 tournament to be held in Accra, Ghana. This tournament is scheduled to commence on Wednesday, 23 February 2011.

Countries competing in the Africa Division Three include: Rwanda, Gambia and Lesotho, who have competed in the Africa regional tournaments over the past six years. New entrants in this event are first timers Morocco, Cameroon, Mali and Africa's newest member, Seychelles. St Helena will not be able to make its debut at this tournament.

Regional Development Manager-Africa, Cassim Suliman said: "It is exciting for the ICC Africa regional office to announce these names. They have also undergone intensive training session at the recent umpires forum. We would like to take this opportunity and wish them well at this is very important tournament."

The match officials for this tournament are: Emmanual Byiringiro (Rwanda), Robert Kumwenda (Zambia), Emmanual Bruce -Okine (Ghana), Stewart Cole (Ghana), Lucy Mayunga (Tanzania), Asif Panjwani (Mozambique), Elizabeth B. French (Sierra Leone), Francis Samura (Sierra Leone)
