ICC announces umpire and match referee appointments for finals of ICC World Twenty20 2010

The ICC today announced details of the umpire and match referee appointments for the men's and women's finals of the ICC World Twenty20 2010, which will take place at Kensington Oval on Sunday.

Ranjan Madugalle of the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Match Referees will lead the playing control team for the men's final between England and Australia which gets underway at 1130 while Andy Pycroft, also of the elite panel, will referee the women's final between Australia and New Zealand, which starts at 1600.

The on-field umpires for the men's final will be Aleem Dar and Billy Doctrove of the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Umpires with Billy Bowden, also from the elite panel, as third umpire and Rudi Koertzen of the elite panel as fourth umpire.

The women's final will be umpired by Asoka de Silva of the elite panel and Marais Erasmus from the Emirates International Panel of ICC Umpires with Asad Rauf, also from the elite panel, as third umpire and Rod Tucker from the international panel as fourth umpire.
