ICC Development Programme Annual Awards 2008 . Japan and Indonesia fly the EAP flag

The EAP office would like to congratulate Japan and Indonesia for their awards at the 2008 ICC Development Programme Annual Awards announced on April 1 in Johannesburg.
Indonesia?s exceptional Ultra Milk U-15 Development Programme was recognised yet again after it was announced the Best Junior Cricket Initiative.
Similarly Japan should be extremely proud of their efforts. After being announced as the EAP Regional Development Award winner for Best Overall Cricket Development Programme in March, the Japan Cricket Association has also taken out at the same category at the global awards.
Regional Development Manager of the EAP, Matthew Weisheit said of the announcement, ?it is great to see our members be recognised for their efforts on a global scale. We look forward to seeing more of our members included in the near future..

Volunteer of the Year. Patricio Caamano (Chile)
Lifetime Service Award - Samwiri Walusimbi (Uganda) and HRH Tunku Tan Sri Imran (Malaysia)
All awards were selected by an expert panel including current ICC President, David Morgan, and past ICC Presidents,
Ehsan Mani, Malcolm Gray and Ray Mali. The NCB.s of all award winners will receive a cricket equipment grant in
recognition of their efforts.
