Overview
England vs Sri Lanka
Headingley Stadium, Leeds - England
June 21, 2019
10:30 AM BST
Sri Lanka will be under a lot of pressure ahead of the game, as they desperately need a win to keep their semi-final hopes alive. With only four points from five games so far, they need to win all their remaining games if they want to harbour any dreams of making it to the top-four.

England, on the other hand, are flying high on confidence and have won their last three games. They beat Afghanistan in their last match with ease, and will be looking for an encore against an inconsistent Sri Lanka unit. A batting-friendly surface is expected for the game, and 350 can be breached yet again, especially if England bat first.

Fantasy Team
Wicket-Keepers: Kusal Perera, Jos Buttler and Jonny Bairstow
The fact that three keepers can be chosen in the ICC Dream11 Fantasy team allows three in-form and dangerous players to be picked for this game. Perera has been one of the best batters for Sri Lanka in CWC19. He smashed back-to-back fifties against Afghanistan and Australia recently. Bairstow opens the innings for England, and he can be expected to pitch in with a big score. Buttler bats down the order, but his skills to get to a big knock in just a few overs ensures that he is a Fantasy player’s delight.
Batsmen: Dimuth Karunaratne, Eoin Morgan, James Vince
Dimuth Karunaratne has been yet another shining star in an otherwise dismal campaign for the Lankans. The fact that he's an opener means the skipper has yet another opportunity to play the full quota of overs and get a big score. He scored 97 against Australia and his team will rely on him to get them to a strong position. Morgan went berserk in the last game against Afghanistan, smashing 148 runs off just 71 balls. He also hit 17 sixes in the process – an ODI record. James Vince has replaced Jason Roy after the latter has been ruled out for two games due to injury. Though he averages less than 28 in the format, on a flat deck against a poor bowling side, he can in no way be counted out.

All-Rounders: Thisara Perera, Ben Stokes
Perera costs only 8.5 credits, and though he has not yet fared as per expectations, he is capable of changing the course of the game with bat and ball in the middle overs. He has a strike rate of more than 112 in the format and also strikes every 32.3 deliveries with the ball. Hence, if he bowls his full quota of overs, he will be expected to get at least one wicket. Ben Stokes is another all-rounder who can chip in with both ball and bat. On his day, he gets runs, latches onto amazing catches and picks crucial wickets, thus getting points from all departments.
Bowlers: Lasith Malinga, Chris Woakes, Jofra Archer
Malinga is one of the most experienced bowlers and can choke the run-flow in the death overs. His pin-point yorkers make him an irresistible option to have in the Dream11 team. Archer has been outstanding in the World Cup thus far. He has regularly picked up three-wicket hauls in the event and currently has 12 scalps at an economy rate of less than 5. Chris Woakes, too, is a player to watch out for. He is likely to cause problems for the Sri Lankan batters, who have not been at their very best so far.
CWC 19: Lasith Malinga – The experienced champion
Captaincy Options
Best bet: Jonny Bairstow, Jofra Archer
Alternatives: Eoin Morgan, Jos Buttler
