ICC East Asia - Pacific Women's Trophy Fixture released

With the build-up continuing for the 2010 Pepsi ICC EAP Women's Cricket Trophy, the ICC EAP Office has today released the official fixture for the tournament, to be played in Sano, Japan from 3rd to 7th May between hosts Japan, Papua New Guinea and Samoa.

The winner of this regional tournament will progress to the ICC Women's World Cup Qualifier in 2011, with further success resulting in a berth at the ICC Women's World Cup in 2013.

ICC EAP Tournament Director Nick Frayne said,"This promises to be one of the most exciting EAP regional Tournaments in recent history with Women's cricket improving dramatically in recent times", said Frayne. "And the fact that, for the first time in EAP history, we will have three women's teams competing, just adds to the excitement."
