ICC launches online Media Guide for ICC World T20 Sri Lanka 2012

The International Cricket Council today launched the official ICC World Twenty20 Sri Lanka 2012 online Media Centre. This online resource, which is free to access and available to all media, irrespective of whether they are accredited for the event, contains a wide variety of resources to help enhance media's coverage of the tournament.

Some of the key highlights of the Online Media Centre include:

· Detailed team and player profiles for each of the 12 Men's and eight Women's teams

· Information on each host city and venue

· Guide to each of the four host cities, with insights from players on where to go and what to do away from the cricket

· Essential event information and details on ICC initiatives

· Contact information for event staff

· A list of media transportation information, including a full timetable of transport on match days

Other features that will be available on the Media Centre in due course include:

· A daily statistical bulletin previewing every match of the tournament

· A full detail of practice sessions available on a daily basis, outlining media activities for upcoming days, as well as the latest ICC announcements
