Abhishek Sharma continued his breakout year with an explosive run of form during the Asia Cup, where he was named Player of the Tournament as India lifted the trophy.
The left-hander smashed 314 runs in seven T20Is, that included three fifties with a staggering strike rate of 200.
His aggressive play at the top of the order helped India dominate throughout the tournament.
Abhishek also reached the highest batting rating ever recorded in men’s T20I history with 931 points, continuing his rapid rise on the international stage.
Kuldeep Yadav (India)
Left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav produced a dream run with the ball, emerging as the leading wicket-taker at the Asia Cup with 17 scalps at an economy rate of 6.27.
He began the tournament with stunning figures of 4/7 against the UAE and finished with 4/30 in the title clash against Pakistan.
He picked up at least one wicket in all of India’s games and his ability to strike in the middle overs played a crucial role in their success.

Brian Bennett (Zimbabwe)
Zimbabwe’s Brian Bennett was in exceptional touch throughout September, scoring 497 runs in nine T20Is at an average of 55.22 and a strike rate of 165.66.
After topping the charts in series against Sri Lanka and Namibia, he carried his form into the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Africa Regional Final, scoring 72, 65 and 111 in his first three innings.
Bennett’s consistency with the bat and clean hitting was vital as Zimbabwe secured qualification for the 2026 T20 World Cup.
