ICC publishes News Access Regulations for ICC WT20 SL 2012

The International Cricket Council on Friday released its News Access Regulations for broadcasters in India intending to cover the ICC World Twenty20 Sri Lanka 2012 (and its warm-up matches) which will be staged in Colombo, Hambantota and Pallekele from 12 September to 7 October.
These regulations are solely for bona fide news broadcasters registered under the category of "News and Current Affairs" channels according to Indian Ministry of Information and Broadcasting's "downlinking guidelines".
The regulations have been based on and reflect copyright "fair-use" principles and will remain in full force and effect until 24 hours after the end of the last match of the event.
