Sri Lanka captain Dunith Wellalage:

“Today is a special day for us, my team did really well they bowled really well and myself included so I am very happy for my team’s performance.

“Today our main off-spinner played because the Australian team have four left-handed batters, that was a change we made.

Australian captain Cooper Connolly:

“I reckon we can take out some good performances from our opening bowler Tom Whitney, he just came in bashed the deck and looked threatening for us.

“And our opener Campbell Kellaway, looked really nice with the bat, it would have been nice for him to go on and get a big score but cricket is cricket.

“Campbell Kellaway looks the best he has looked all tournament just hopefully he can get some more runs. I feel like our batting line-up is very strong and I feel like we can go a long way in this tournament.

On looking ahead to their final group game: “I think we are just going to go into the game backing ourselves and concentrate on what we can control. I feel like we can beat Scotland but we just need to control what we can control, and the rest will happen for us.”
