ICC Women's Player of the Month award nominees revealed
Two of the finest all-rounders in the world and a consistent batter from Bangladesh have been nominated for the ICC Women's Player of the Month award for October 2026.
Deepti Sharma (India)
The experienced India all-rounder was in fine form for her country during October as she made strong contributions with both bat and ball across two different formats against Zimbabwe.
Deepti's standout performance came in the second ODI against the African nation in Vadodara when the 29-year-old hit her second ODI century and chipped in with three valuable wickets as India clinched the three-game series with a comfortable 121-run victory.
It wasn't Deepti's only solid effort across the month of October, with the left-handed batter also striking a quickfire 49 in the first T20I against Zimbabwe in Raipur to help setup a victory and then collecting two wickets across the remainder of the series to help India secure a series sweep.
That form translated across to the ODI series as Deepti secured two wickets in the series opener in another India triumph, before her heroics with both bat and ball in the second match of the series capped off a tremendous month of cricket.
Sobhana Mostary (Bangladesh)
The talented batter created history during October as she amassed the highest score by a Bangladesh women's player in ODI cricket when she smashed a brilliant innings of 118 from just 134 deliveries against Australia in Brisbane.
It was an innings of immense quality from Mostary, as she hit 18 boundaries during her knock to help Bangladesh post a competitive total of 220/6 from their 50 overs against the quality Australia lineup.
While it wasn't enough to get Bangladesh across the line in that match or across the series, Mostary showed her class by scoring a total of 129 runs at an average of 43 during the three-game series to ensure the side left Australian shores with their heads held high.

Annabel Sutherland (Australia)
The consistent Australia star produced quality performances with both bat and ball across October as she helped herself to plenty of runs and wickets in the ODI series with Bangladesh and T20I series against New Zealand.
It was perhaps in the series opener against Bangladesh in Brisbane that Sutherland produced her best performance of the month as she collected a four-wicket haul with the ball and smashed an unbeaten 25* with the bat to help the Aussies register a comfortable seven-wicket triumph.
Another unbeaten knock - this time of 74* - highlighted Sutherland's strong ODI series as she controlled proceedings in the series finale against Bangladesh, while a two-wicket haul in the same match saw her finish the three-match 50-over series with a total of 99 runs and six wickets.
Sutherland picked up a solitary wicket and made 19 runs from the two completed T20Is against New Zealand to close out the month, capping off a fine stretch of form for the 25-year-old.
