Three standout performers from the sub-continent headline the shortlist for the ICC Women’s Player of the Month for February 2026.
Harshitha Samarawickrama (Sri Lanka)
Sri Lanka’s dependable top-order batter Harshitha Samarawickrama enjoyed a prolific ODI series in the Caribbean, playing a central role in Sri Lanka’s 2-1 series win over the West Indies.
The left-hander finished as the leading run-scorer in the series, amassing 171 runs from three ODIs at an average of 57.00.
Samarawickrama showcased impressive consistency across the series, producing innings of 66, 35 and 70, anchoring Sri Lanka’s batting unit in the challenging Caribbean conditions.
Her contributions proved decisive as Sri Lanka sealed the ODI series 2-1, with the opener’s efforts earning her the Player of the Series award.
Fatima Sana (Pakistan)
Pakistan captain Fatima Sana impressed with both bat and ball against the Proteas, despite losing out 2-1 in both white-ball series.
The all-rounder was particularly dominant in the shortest format of the tour, where she finished as the leading run-getter with 146 runs at an average of 73.00, striking at a blistering 184.81.
Her standout moment came in the opening T20I, where she smashed a brilliant 90, before following it up with an unbeaten 47 and 2/12 in the third match, receiving the Player of the Match award.
Sana also struck 52 and produced two crucial wickets with the ball in the second ODI.
Across the tour, Sana picked up four wickets in the ODI series and two in the T20Is.

Arundhati Reddy (India)
Pacer Arundhati Reddy spearheaded India's attack during their three-match T20I series victory in Australia.
Reddy finished as the leading wicket-taker of the series, claiming eight wickets at an average of 10.87, while maintaining an economy rate of 7.25.
The right-arm seamer delivered match-defining spells in each game, returning figures of 4/22, 2/30 and 2/35, that kept Australia’s batters under pressure.
Her wicket-taking exploits proved pivotal as India secured the series 2-1.
