She followed up her ton with two further half-centuries, with 67 from 65 in the second ODI and 65 from 66 balls in the third playing a major role in England’s series sweep.
While the 24-year-old’s main role was with the bat, she also turned her arm over in all three matches, finishing the series on a high with 3/42.
India’s Renuka Singh Thakur had a memorable month of July, finishing with 12 wickets in just 5 matches.
Renuka helped India complete a 3-0 whitewash against Sri Lanka, with the right-arm fast bowler finishing as the highest wicket-taker with 7 scalps in three matches. She got off to a great start to the series with figures of 3/29 in the first ODI to help restrict Sri Lanka to 171.
The 26-year-old followed it up with a four-wicket haul in the next game where she ran through the Sri Lanka top-order with three wickets in the Powerplay. For figures of 4/28, she was the Player of the Match in the second ODI that helped seal the series for India with a game to spare.
Renuka's fine run of form continued into the 2022 Commonwealth Games as she bowled one of the finest opening spells in Women's T20I cricket. Facing the ICC Women's T20 World Cup champions in the first match, she blew away the Australian top-order and recorded figures of 4/18. In the game against arch-rivals Pakistan, she bowled an economical spell of 1/20 that included a maiden in the Powerplay.

The England star carried her strong form through into July, making substantial contributions with the bat throughout the ODI and T20I series wins over South Africa.
Sciver hit back-to-back half-centuries in the ODIs, helping England dominate both matches, and her 84 runs in the T20 series came at a serious lick.

The all-rounder was handy with the ball too, with figures of 4/59 in the first ODI her standout display.
Three tidy overs and a quick-fire 17 got her Commonwealth Games campaign off to a strong start too, as July ended well for the England stalwart.
