ICC World Twenty20 England 2009

Media Conference to be held at The Oval, London on 24 June 2008

The International Cricket Council (ICC) and the England and Wales Cricket Board invite you to attend a press conference to launch the fixtures and tickets of the ICC World Twenty20 England 2009 in the Long Room at The Oval, London on Tuesday 24 June 2008 at 1030.

There will be the opportunity to speak to David Morgan, ICC President-Elect, and Steve Elworthy, Tournament Director of ICC World Twenty20 England 2009, as well as Charlotte Edwards, the England women’s captain.

Immediately after this media event there will be the chance to talk to Paul Collingwood, England’s ODI and Twenty20 captain, as well as representatives of the New Zealand team.

You are requested to arrive at The Oval by 1000. Registration will take place in the Long Room Bar where light refreshments will also be available.

The speakers will be available for one-on-one interviews post the press conference and there will also be photographic opportunities.

Broadcasters should notify Mark Ward at Mark.ward@ecb.co.uk if they require parking facilities for OB vans. Unfortunately there is no other media parking available. Public transport links are the underground stations at Oval and Vauxhall.
