Among them was ICC Hall of Famer Rachael Heyhoe-Flint, a former England captain and pioneer for the women’s game. Heyhoe-Flint was instrumental in setting up the sport’s first ever ICC World Cup in 1973 in which she led England to victory, was the first woman to hit a six in Tests, and held the record for Test run-scoring at the time of her retirement. She died in January a true legend of the game.
