India is high on confidence, having won the first match, and Pakistan will have to do something special to level the series as both the teams battle it out in the second one-day international in Mohali on Thursday.

The Indians gave a convincing performance to win the first match in Guwahati by five wickets. However, if they become complacent against this highly-talented Pakistan side, they will be asking for trouble.

Dangerous Pakistan

The Pakistan team is a very good blend of youth and experience and they are capable of beating any side in the world on their day. Having said that, if India manages to take a 2-0 lead in the five match series, it will become very tough for Pakistan to bounce back in the remaining matches.

Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni sounded confident. "We came here playing Australia, who are the best in the world. When you come to a series after playing Australia, things do look easier," Dhoni said.

The home team has been served well by their two spinners -- Harbhajan Singh and Murali Kartik -- who not only do the containing job but also pick up crucial wickets.

"Well, they have been doing it consistently. In the last series also, they did really well. Their performance has contributed to the team's success," Dhoni said.

Fielding - a worry

Pakistan admitted a lot of work needs to be done in the field. "In the fielding department we made mistakes and that proved costly. If we could have held the catches, the result could have been different in Guwahati. Hopefully we will not make those mistakes in the next game," skipper Shoaib Malik said.

The conditions in Mohali will definitely suit the Pakistanis as the track will have something for both the batsmen and the bowlers as well.

"It is a typical Mohali wicket. There will be bounce and pace and the bowlers will have something for them in the first 15 overs or so. If the batsmen play that period carefully, it would be a good batting track thereafter," curator Daljit Singh said.

A full house is expected for the match with all the tickets being sold out well in advance for the high-voltage match to be played amid tight security arrangements.
