India beats Pakistan to win ODI series

Sachin Tendulkar must consult an astrologer, numerologist, anyone... how can one otherwise explain his repeated dismissals in the 90s? However, Indian ODI skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is not complaining. India won the Gwalior one dayer by six wickets to take an unassailable lead of 3-1 in the five match ODI series against Pakistan on Thursday.
Chasing a challenging target of 256 in 50 overs, India knocked off 260 in 46.3 overs, with Dhoni hitting a six to seal the match. He remained unbeaten on 45 off as many balls and Yuvraj Singh was unconquered on 53 off 65 balls.
Tendulkar gave India a great start even as Sourav Ganguly fell early. He made 97 off 102 balls with 16 fours as Ganguly was dismissed by Shoaib Akhtar for five.
Gautam Gambhir was out for just three but after that, India easily walked away with the game.
Earlier, Mohammed Yousuf was unbeaten on 99 as Pakistan posted a modest 255 for six. Yousuf needed ten runs off the last two balls to complete his hundred, and he sent the fifth ball into the stands for a six. The final delivery of the 50th over gave him three more runs as he was stranded on 99.
Younus Khan made 68 and Misbah-ul-Haq made 40 even as Zaheer Khan took two for 40 in his ten overs. In the end, India won in a canter.
