India begin with a defeat

India under-19 began its campaign in the four-nation tournament in Australia on a disastrous.

India lost its opening game to New Zealand by six wickets at the Endeavour Park, Townsville.

Batting first, India was bowled out for a paltry 123 in 47 overs.

In its reply, New Zealand reached the target with ease despite losing four early wickets. New Zealand ended at 127 for four in 33.4 overs.
