India’s win in the third and final ODI over Zimbabwe has brought several players into the spotlight in the latest ICC Women's ODI Player Rankings, with a remarkable rise from a young spinner headlining the update.

The biggest jump comes from 20-year-old India spinner Vaishnavi Sharma, who has climbed 53 places to 94th in the ODI bowling rankings.

After claiming four wickets in the second ODI, Sharma followed it up with an outstanding five-wicket haul in the series finale, returning figures of 5/39 in just her third appearance in the format. Her match-winning effort earned her the Player of the Match award as India completed the clean sweep in the ICC Women’s Championship series.

There were further gains for India in the bowling rankings, with Sayali Satghare continuing to make an impression with the new ball. Her disciplined performance in the final ODI, which included figures of 2/11 from six overs and 30 dot balls, contributed to her 18-place rise to 85th. Kranti Gaud also moves up one place to 24th after picking up two wickets in Vadodara.

Zimbabwe's Nomvelo Sibanda gained two places to reach 60th in the bowling rankings. Her early breakthrough in the final ODI, dismissing Yastika Bhatia off the first ball of the innings, added to her tally.
