India turn attention to T20 World Cup with Sri Lanka series

The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side will return to action following their ICC Women’s ODI World Cup triumph for a home assignment against Sri Lanka.

India will begin preparations for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 with a five-match series against Sri Lanka at home in December.

The newly-crowned ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup champions will now look to extend their dominance to the shortest format of the game with this five-match series against the island nation a chance to set the tone for the marquee tournament next summer.
