Sachin Tendulkar top-scored for India on the final day of their tour match against the Cricket Australia Chairman's XI in Canberra.

The legendary right-hander compiled a fluent 92 before retiring out at tea in order to give other batsmen an opportunity to gain some time in the middle.

Tendulkar added 133 for the fourth-wicket with VVS Laxman (57) who also retired out at the final break.

Ajinkya Rahane missed an opportunity to impress when he was out early on for three.

Gautam Gambhir and Rahul Dravid then put on 71 before the former picked out Chairman's XI skipper Ryan Broad at short cover off spinner Glenn Maxwell.

Dravid looked in good form, only to miss out on his half-century when he failed to clear mid-off against leg-spinner Cameron Boyce.

Virat Kohli was the only other batsman to be dismissed on the field - offering Boyce a return catch - as the tourists can be pleased with their day's work.

Rohit Sharma (56 not out) and deputy wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha (23 not out) saw their side to the close on 320-6.

India have one more warm-up match - a three-day fixture starting on Monday - ahead of the Boxing Day first Test against Australia in Melbourne.
