International stars set to learn their fate with ICC Awards to be revealed
Following an extensive voting period conducted by cricket media personalities and fans alike, the coveted ICC Awards for 2022 will be unveiled over an exciting four-day period.
The first two awards to be announced will be the ICC Men’s T20I Team of the Year and ICC Women’s T20I Team of the Year on January 23 and the corresponding ODI teams and Men's Test XI will follow suit the following day.
And it's on Wednesday January 25 when the action really hots up, as the first of the 13 highly anticipated individual awards are announced via ICC channels.

Pakistan veteran Mohammad Rizwan is among the nominees for the ICC Men’s T20I Cricketer of the Year that will be revealed on that day and he could become the first two-time winner of the award after he claimed the gong in 2021.
Rizwan has a tough field to beat, with India talisman Suryakumar Yadav, Zimbabwe all-rounder Sikandar Raza and ICC Men's T20 World Cup-winner Sam Curran his competition.
There will be a first-time winner of the corresponding women's award, with India's Smriti Mandhana, Pakistan's Nida Dar, New Zealand's Sophie Devine and Australia's Tahlia McGrath battling it out to become the ICC Women's T20I Cricketer of the Year.
It will be similar on Thursday January 26, when England all-rounder Ben Stokes, Pakistan skipper Babar Azam and India star Mandhana will all be looking to become multiple winners of the awards they are nominated for.
Stokes claimed the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy for ICC Men's Cricketer of the Year back in 2019 and is among the four nominees - alongside New Zealand quick Tim Southee, Babar and Raza - for the 2022 award.
It could be a big day for Babar, who is also in line for a second ICC Men's ODI Cricketer of the Year award after he won this honour in 2021.
Screamer! Babar Azam takes a sharp reflex catch at first slip | T20WC 2022
Babar Azam took a stunning catch at first slip during Pakistan's clash against Zimbabwe in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022.
Babar has Australia spinner Adam Zampa, West Indies batter Shai Hope and Raza as competition, so it won't be easy for the Pakistan skipper to make it back-to-back awards.
And Mandhana is in line a second consecutive and third overall Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy for ICC Women’s Cricketer of the Year, after she claimed top honour in 2018 and again in 2021.
Mandhana is up against a hot field, with Australia's Beth Mooney, New Zealand's Amelia Kerr and England's Nat Sciver her rivals for the top women's award.
