Inzamam-ul-Haq, Mark Boucher named MCC Honorary Life Members
The MCC made the announcement on its website on Friday, 12 April.
Inzamam, 49, played 120 Tests for Pakistan, accumulating 8830 runs at an average of 49.60, which included 25 centuries. He also captained the side from 2001 to 2007 and is regarded as one of Pakistan's best batsmen in one-day internationals; his 11,739 ODI runs in 378 games put him sixth on the all-time list of run-getters.

After retirement, he took over as Afghanistan's head coach for 2015-16. He resigned from the position to become Pakistan's chief selector in April 2016.
In becoming an honorary life member of the MCC, he joins an illustrious list of 25 Pakistanis to have the honour, appearing alongside the likes of Imran Khan, Waqar Younis, Wasim Akram and Shahid Afridi.
Boucher, 42, played international career for 15 years before retiring in 2012. He played 147 Tests and was the first wicket-keeper to take 500 catches in the longest format. He scored 5515 runs in Tests at 30.30.

In ODIs, he accumulated 4686 runs and registered over 400 dismissals. He holds the record for the most number of combined format dismissals: 998 in total.
Boucher, who in May 2017 was named Coach of the Year at Cricket South Africa's annual awards, is in charge of the Titans cricket franchise and joins former colleagues Allan Donald, Jonty Rhodes, Shaun Pollock and Daryll Cullinan in being an honorary life member.
