IPL experience was unbelievable: Shane Warne

Legendary leg spinner Shane Warne has said that winning the Indian Premier League was the most exciting chapter of his distinguished career.
In his career, which divned closed to 15 years, Shane Warne has seen numerous highs and has been part of the champion Australian side that dominated world cricket.
Warne, a vital member in Australia’s attacking strategy, featured in seven (out of eight) Ashes triumphs claiming 195 wickets in the 36 Tests against arch-rivals England. He was named the Man of the Match for his fantastic spell of 4-33 in the 1999 World Cup finals, which Australia won by 8 wickets beating Pakistan at the historic Lord’s stadium.
However, the master-spinner has hailed the IPL triumph, that he achieved two years after his retirement in the inaugural edition of the event, as the most exciting chapter of his career.
Playing the dual role of captain-cum-coach, Shane Warne guided the Rajasthan Royals to victory in the Indian Premier League in 2008.
"In 20 years of playing, I haven't experienced any like what I experienced in India last year. It was truly unbelievable,” Warne told the Sydney Morning Herald.
“The Ashes [in] '05 comes pretty close to the intensity of the crowd, and the passion and the news, but we were getting [more than] 110,000 at Eden Gardens, there was 25,000 outside the ground for the final, plus 90,000 in the stadium," said the second highest wicket-taker in Test cricket.
