Ireland name squad for ODI series against West Indies

Fresh off a historic first win at the ICC Women's T20 World Cup, Ireland will take on West Indies in the ICC Women's Championship.

Cricket Ireland has revealed the squad for the upcoming Women's ODI series against the West Indies later this month.

The three-match ODI series, to be held in Bready, Ireland, will mark the beginning of the ICC Women’s Championship cycle for Ireland. Gaby Lewis will continue to lead the side with star all-rounder Orla Prendergast as her deputy.

Ireland earned a slice of history when the teams last met at the ongoing ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026. In their final group stage fixture, Ireland beat the Windies by six wickets to record their first-ever win at the tournament.

The West Indies are also coming off a strong show at the T20 World Cup, where they finished as semi-finalists before losing to Australia.
