IS THE REPORTING FUNCTION ANONYMOUS?
Individuals are required to provide their name and contact details (phone and/or email) when submitting a report through the ICC Integrity App.
This is to ensure Participants meet their obligations under the ICC Anti-Corruption Code to report corrupt approaches, or information regarding corrupt conduct, or invitations to engage in corrupt conduct, to the appropriate ACU, without unnecessary delay. For clarity, this requires that information is reported in advance of the match to which it relates. Where information relates to an International Match or ICC Event, the report must be made to the ICC ACU.
Additionally, this ensures the ICC Anti-Corruption unit (or Anti-Doping, when relevant to doping) is in a position to be able to respond to the information reported, whether that be to provide advice and support, obtain further detail, provide feedback and/or advise of any action taken including prevention and disruption measures.
Participants can be assured that any information provided to the ICC will be handled appropriately, confidentially and securely in accordance with the provisions of the relevant Code. Refer to the following FAQ: ‘What happens when I submit a report through the app?’.
