Jenkin happy with Fiji's development ahead of Nepal event

Steve Jenkin, national coach of Fiji, believes that his side has improved as a result of taking part in the ICC EAP Trophy.
Although it couldn't overcome old rivals Papua New Guinea in the Twenty20 or 50-over competition, he believes that his side is well positioned to be competitive at the Pepsi ICC World Cricket League Division 5 next February.
"PNG are a very good team so it is no surprise that they have won the tournament," said Jenkin.
"However, the Blues have also played well throughout the tournament and we have improved greatly since our tour to Vanuatu.
"We have used this tournament as an opportunity to prepare for our World Cricket League Tournament in Nepal in February and the players have made some important progress towards that tournament."
