Job Advert- Cricket Ireland Marketing & Membership Manager

Cricket Ireland is the governing body for the game at both performance and participation levels throughout Ireland, representing the interests of both the men?s and women?s game. The future of Irish Cricket is incredibly bright following the performance of the Men?s Senior XI in the past four ICC World Cup events and significant wins against Full Member countries over the past 4 years.

This success has resulted in the rapid growth of the organisation and a significant increase in turnover, particularly commercial, through the maintenance of partnerships with blue-chip multi-nationals, such as RSA Insurance and Volkswagen. At the same time, our growth in playing strength has attracted the best teams in the world to play in Ireland, with teams such as England, Australia, West Indies, India, South Africa and Pakistan visiting these shores since 2007.

Cricket Ireland is seeking a marketing professional to help spread the gospel of the game in Ireland using modern marketing communication channels, to help open up new revenue streams, and to ensure that our valued members are supported and serviced.

Based in our Dublin HQ, and reporting into the Sponsorship and Events Manager, the successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of Cricket Ireland?s marketing, on-line and social media output, putting to use relevant experience and proven communication skills.

The position offers a genuine opportunity for the successful candidate to help implement, deliver and evolve the smooth administrative running of Cricket Ireland to help ensure that we continue to be as successful off the field of play, as we are on it.
