Johan Botha's talks ICC Champions Trophy on this week's ICC Cricket World audio show

This week's ICC Cricket World audio show is an ICC Champions Trophy special with South Africa spin bowler Johan Botha talking about the Proteas' hopes for the upcoming tournament in Johannesburg and New Zealand batsman Ross Taylor revealing his cricketing aspirations.
The Proteas vice-captain said: "What's on paper doesn't count for anything - it's how you perform on the field that really matters. We've got get out there and do the business and obviously it's important to do well in the first round.
"I don't think the lack of winning ICC trophies hangs on us too much. We're a young team who has only been together for about 18 months. We can only control what we do and not always look back at what previous South Africa teams have or have not done," said the 27-year-old.
The show can be used in whole or part by radio stations that want cricket content, while the public can also download it straight from the ICC website at http://www.icc-cricket.com/media_interactive_zone/podcast.php
This week's show also includes an interview with New Zealand batsman Ross Taylor who talks the Black Caps' build-up to the prestigious event and also about what it's like to be only the second cricketer of Samoan origin to play for NZ.
"Being part Samoan is an untapped market to play cricket, so hopefully in a few years I can inspire a few players to give the game a go, and with the physique of most Polynesians I'm sure there could be a few good all-rounders out there in a few years time," said Taylor.
Of his cricketing hero, Taylor said: "Sachin Tendulkar, what an amazing player to watch and growing up I always looked up to him. It's pretty amazing now that I get to say I've played against him too."
South Africa captain Graeme Smith also appears on this week's show to talk about his role as a champion of THINK WISE, the Global Cricket AIDS partnership, and some of the activations taking place during the ICC Champions Trophy.
"As captain of the South Africa side it's important to be a role model on these matters and the ICC Champions Trophy gives us an opportunity to stand on a major platform and raise people's awareness of HIV and AIDS."
Apart from these interviews, this week's ICC Cricket World also includes the latest news from around the world as well as updates on the Reliance Mobile ICC Player Rankings and a look at the history and statistics of the ICC Champions Trophy.
The weekly ICC Cricket World audio show runs for 15 minutes and has been put together by the ICC's global broadcast partner ESPN STAR Sports.
