Jonathan Trott to coach England batsmen during Pakistan Tests
Trott, who played 52 Tests for England between 2009 and 2015, will lend his expertise to England's batsmen during their campaign against Pakistan.
Also joining the coaching setup for the series will be former New Zealand spinner Jeetan Patel and Warwickshire seam bowler Graeme Welch, as per a report in BBC.
Trott was one of the world's most prolific run-scorers from his debut in 2009 until the end of 2013, amassing 3,763 runs at 46.45 during that period. He was even named the ICC Player of the Year in 2011.
The former middle-order batsman, who played his last Test in 2015, has featured in the England side alongside key current batsmen such as Joe Root and Ben Stokes as well as bowlers James Anderson and Stuart Broad.
The first of three Tests gets under way on 5 August at Old Trafford.
