Kayes ruled out of second Test against West Indies
Kayes joins Tamim Iqbal on the sidelines, who missed the first Test with a side strain, and is still recovering from his injury.
Minhajul Abedin, chief selector, confirmed the omission of Kayes to reporters, saying: “The physio report says that Imrul has an injury on his shoulder and toe. He will need 10 days for recovery.”

Kayes’ omission paves the way for a debut for Shadman Islam, who hit 73 for a BCB XI against the touring visitors in a warm-up match prior to the first Test.
The 23-year-old left-hander has been in good touch for Dhaka Metro of late, and was included in the squad for the first Test, which Bangladesh won by 64 runs.
The second and final Test of the series begins on November 30 in Dhaka.
