Jemimah Rodrigues suffered a hamstring injury and has been ruled out of the Hundred competition in England.

She featured for Southern Brave in the competition and scored 143 runs at an average of 35.75 and a strike-rate of 131.19.

Rodrigues is a vital cog in the India batting line-up and with the Asia Cup lined up to start later this month, the team management will keep a close eye on her progress. 

The middle-order batter is the fourth-highest run-getter for India in the T20I format, with 2824 runs at a strike-rate of 119.

The Women's Asia Cup starts on August 28, with India playing its first game against Thailand on August 30. India are the most successful side in the competition, having won it seven times so far.
