Key Pakistan duo ruled out of Australia series with injury
Pakistan batting duo Fakhar Zaman and Saim Ayub have been ruled out from the upcoming Australia series with injuries.
Openers Fakhar Zaman and Saim Ayub have been ruled out of selection for the upcoming ODI series against Australia beginning on May 30.
Both players are still recovering from injuries and have been advised to continue their rehabilitation programmes, ruling them out of the three-match home ODI series with the Aussies.
The pair last featured for Pakistan during the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 and were more recently in action in the Pakistan Super League.
