Kusal Mendis replaces Kusal Perera in Sri Lanka ODI squad
Perera, who scored a handy 30 in the second ODI to help his team rebuild after a poor start, suffered a hamstring injury that has ruled him out of the rest of the series.
Kusal Janith Perera will miss the remainder of the Sri Lanka – England ODI Series, due to an injury, he suffered during the 2nd ODI.

Despite being in and around the Sri Lankan set-up for nearly three years, Perera's replacement, Mendis, is still only 23. He was one of the casualties of Sri Lanka's disappointing Asia Cup campaign last month – Mendis was dismissed for a duck in both of Sri Lanka's matches.
He has five Test centuries to his name already however, and will be hoping to convert his obvious promise in white-ball cricket into match-defining contributions. He will hope to have an opportunity in the remaining matches of the rain-affected series. The first ODI was abandoned, while the second had to be decided by the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern method.
