Last opportunity to buy ICC World Twenty20 Sri Lanka 2012 semi-finals tickets

As many as 3,314 and 5,107 tickets for the two semi-finals’ days, respectively can be purchased from Thurstan College Cricket Grounds from 0900 on a first come first served basis.

Each person will be allowed to purchase a maximum of four tickets and those who have already bought their limit for these matches will not be eligible for any further purchases.

As with all previous sales phases buyers will be required to produce their NIC or valid passport at the time of purchasing.

Further tickets for Sunday’s finals may be made available for sale from Saturday morning. Details will be announced in due course.

For Thursday’s semi-finals, 2,214 Category 3 tickets and 1,100 category 4 tickets will be available for sale while for Friday’s semi-finals, 145 Category 2, 2,550 Category 3 and 1,107 Category 4 tickets will be available for sale.

Category 2 tickets are valued at SLR1,760 while Category 3 and Category 4 are priced at SLR1,210 and SLR770, respectively.

On Thursday, England Women will play New Zealand Women in the first semi-final starting at 1430 and this match will be followed up by a repeat of ICC World Twenty20 2009 final between Sri Lanka and Pakistan.

This match will begin at 1900.

On Sunday, Australia and West Indies will be involved in both the women’s and men’s semi-finals with the men’s semi-final starting at 1900.
