Last T20WC 2024 regional qualifier spot up for grabs in East Asia and Pacific
The second East Asia and the Pacific sub-regional qualifier will be held in Japan from 15 October with a place in a pivotal playoff on the line.
The winner of the EAP SRQ B will progress to the regional final next year to face Philippines and Vanuatu, with the leading team in that group securing a spot at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.
The EAP SRQ B matches will all be played at Sano International Cricket Ground in Japan between 15 and 18 October, and the T20 action starts with a double-header as South Korea face Indonesia and then Japan on the same day.

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 has been expanded to 20 teams, with qualification moving from global qualifiers to qualifiers through the five regions.
The winner of the East Asia Pacific Regional Final series next year - alongside qualifiers from the Europe, Africa, Asia and Americas regions - will earn a place at the 2024 tournament alongside 12 automatically-qualifying teams made up of:
* USA and West Indies as the hosts in 2024
* top eight teams at the Men’s T20 World Cup in Australia later this year
* next highest-ranked teams in the MRF Tyres ICC Men’s T20I Team Rankings as of 14 November 2022
