Madrid United 2nd XI wins Foodland T20 Tournament

Madrid United 2nd XI defeated the Bangladeshi Association XI on the last ball of a thrilling final to win the Foodland T20 Tournament at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid last Sunday.

Batting first, Madrid Utd. finished their 20 overs on 140 for 9, but the Bangladeshi XI batted through to the end and were all out for 134, losing their final wicket on the last ball when a six would have tied the game.

Player of the Tournament went to Somon, captain of the Bangladeshi Association XI, for his bowling performance over the two matches and fine batting in the semi final against Madrid CC 2nd XI.
