41881 Match officials announced for EAP Men's Championships

The ICC East Asia-Pacific have announced the match officials for the upcoming Pepsi ICC East Asia-Pacific Men's Championship which will be held in Auckland, New Zealand from 3 to 7 February.

Seven teams will compete with the winner to advance to a global qualifying event later this year in Dubai for the 2014 World T20.

The competing countries are Japan, Indonesia, Samoa, Fiji, Vanuatu, PNG and the Cook Islands.

All matches will be played at Waikaraka Park in Auckland.

The match officials for the event include New Zealand Elite Panel umpire Barry Frost who will be part of a team of officials from six countries.

During his time with the match officials, Frost will also be acting as a mentor and helping to educate and guide the umpires throughout the tournament, as part of the ongoing ICC initiative for umpire development outside the Full Members. Steve Bernard will be the referee for the tournament.
