Match Officials announced for upcoming ICC Africa WCL Div 3 in Malawi

Match official appointments for the upcoming ICC Africa World Cricket League Division 3 in Blantyre, Malawi have been announced by the ICC and African Cricket Association (ACA).

Six African teams - Sierra Leone, Rwanda, Malawi, Lesotho, Gambia and Morocco - will fight it out for the top honours during the five-day tournament from 3-7 October 2009.

Cassim Suliman, CEO of ACA and Regional Development Manager of ICC Africa, has confirmed that all teams and officials are expected to arrive in Blantyre by 2 October and will depart by 8 October 2009. Graham McMillan, Senior Development Co-Coordinator for ICC Africa, will be the Tournament Match Referee.

Appointed to stand in the tournament will be Subhash Modi (Kenya) from ICC Associates & Affiliates / ACA Panel, David Odhiambo (Kenya), Rockie D'Mello (Kenya), Kutub Gulamabbas (Kenya), Rafik Valimohamed (Malawi), and Amin Tarmahomed (Malawi) from ACA Panel.

Malawi Cricket Association will appoint the reserve umpires and scorers.
