The media accreditation process for the ICC World Test Championship Final 2023 to be played between Australia and India at The Oval in London from 7-11 June is now open. This is an online process that can be completed by clicking here and is only for written press, photographers, non-rights holding (NRH) TV and radio broadcasters.
Those who have covered one of the following ICC Events will be eligible for media accreditation:
- ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023
- ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022
- ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2022
- ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021
- ICC World Test Championship Final 2021
If you have not attended one of the above but have covered other ICC tournaments, World Test Championship matches or other home internationals and believe your circumstances warrant media accreditation, then please apply and the ICC will give due consideration to your request.
Please note that preference will be given to media from international agencies, Australia, India and England, but some journalists from other countries may also be accredited.
Members of the media will have until 17h00 Dubai time (GMT +4) on 7 May, to register for accreditation. As part of the process, the media will need to upload the following documents and, therefore, the ICC advises applicants to have these prepared in soft copy as you will not be able to submit the application form without them.
- A colour headshot photograph with a plain background (like a passport photo) – jpeg or png file (1-2MB)
- Letter of approval/assignment from your Editor/Commissioning Editor – pdf or jpeg file
- Passport/National ID/Driving License
The ICC reserves the right to approve/reject/request further information on all applications in its sole discretion and without providing reasons for doing so.
Please select the training sessions carefully and ensure you attend the ones you select. Further details regarding media interactions will be provided in due course.
NRH camerapersons will be accredited, but only reporters will be allowed inside the venue on match days. However, to assist NRHs, all pre-match and post-match media conferences will be uploaded to the Online Media Zone.
The media is advised to read the Media Accreditation Terms & Conditions carefully to avoid inconvenience.
