Media accreditation process opens for ICC Men's T20 World Cup Qualifier 2019

The media accreditation process for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Qualifier 2019, to be played in the United Arab Emirates, is now open. Applications will be accepted until 10 October.

The league-cum-knockout tournament featuring Bermuda, Canada, Hong Kong, Jersey, Kenya, Ireland, Namibia, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Oman, Papua New Guinea, Scotland, Singapore and the UAE, will be held in Dubai and Abu Dhabi from 18 October to 2 November. The complete schedule is available here.

The application for a media accreditation may be filled online here. One will need to provide the following to be able to complete the process as per the guidelines:

APPLICATION SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

a. Application details: Full name, Name of Organisation, Type of organization (newspaper, magazine, website, news channel, etc), Role (Reporter, Photographer, etc.)
b. Use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox as the recommended browser
c. Upload clear headshot photograph (like passport photo) in jpeg format (less than 500KB)
d. Upload scanned passport copy in jpeg or pdf format (file size not exceeding 400KB)
e. Upload letter from respective media agency on letterhead in jpeg or pdf format (file size not exceeding 400KB)
f. Incomplete applications or applications with missing documents will be rejected

Categories for Online Media Accreditation Applications as follows:

  1. Print Media
  2. Photographer
  3. Non-Rights Holding Broadcaster
  4. Rights-Holding Broadcaster

Members of the media who intend to cover this event are advised to fill up the accreditation form by close of business hours (17h00 Dubai time) on 10 October.

COLLECTION:

  • Approved applicants will be notified by email to collect the accreditation cards
  • Media Accreditation cards can be collected from Events Office at Dubai International Stadium and the Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi between 10am – 5pm on presentation of valid ID. Only applicants can collect their accreditation cards.

Upon collection of Media Accreditation card, the recipient is required to sign an undertaking letter which serves as an acknowledge receipt and has agreed on terms and conditions stated.

The ICC reserves the right to approve/reject/request further information on all applications in its sole discretion and without providing reasons for doing so.

Please note that the media will be required to work from the designated media areas and refrain from going to the Players and Match Officials areas.
