Media Advisory on ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2022 (not for publication)
The media accreditation process for the ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2022 will open shortly.
The 48-match World Cup will take place in the West Indies from early January to mid-February 2022. There will be a short timeline to apply for media accreditation. Therefore, we ask you to be ready with the required documents, so when we open the portal shortly, you can apply immediately.
We are committed to keeping all participants in the event safe and as such, the ICC Medical Advisory Committee (MAC) has recommended that all accredited media be fully vaccinated with respect to COVID-19 as a condition of attending, a recommendation endorsed by our hosts.
It should also be borne in mind that there is a possibility that the host countries and/or ports of departure and return may also require travellers to be fully vaccinated.
There may be additional conditions of entry imposed upon accredited individuals by our host governments and we will share this information and any other protocols that may dictate attendance in due course.
What you require to apply for accreditation:
- A colour headshot photograph with a plain background (like a passport photo) (.jpg file, maximum 2 MB in size)
- Scanned copy of the photo page of valid passport/ National ID (.pdf file, maximum 2 MB in size)
