Media Information for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 – Sunday 30 October
The following is the schedule of media opportunities on Sunday 30 October at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 in Brisbane and Perth.
Match choices
To view the status of your match choices please log onto the media accreditation portal. If you are unable to attend the matches you have been approved for, please let us know so that we can accommodate as many media as possible. Brisbane
Bangladesh and Zimbabwe play their Group 2 match at The Gabba at 13h00 local time (Australian Eastern Standard Time). The teams will hold their post-match media conferences about 15 minutes after the end of the match in person and via Zoom. A player from the losing team will come in first, followed by a player from the winning team. A few players from each team will also be available for short stand-up interviews in the Mixed Zone, shortly after the press conferences have concluded.
In Group 1 of the Super 12 of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022, Australia play Ireland at The Gabba on Monday 31 October at 18h00 local time (Australian Eastern Standard Time).
On Sunday 30 October:
- Australia will train at the Allan Border Field between 10h00 and 13h00. They will hold their pre-match press conference via Zoom at 12h15.
- Ireland will train at Allan Border Field between 14h00 and 17h00 They will hold their pre-match press conference in person and via Zoom at 13h45.
Please note access to the venue on match day-1 is for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup accredited media only.

Perth
The Netherlands and Pakistan play their Group 2 match at the Perth Stadium at 15h00 local time (Australian Western Standard Time), followed by India versus South Africa at 19h00. The teams will hold their post-match media conferences about 15 minutes after the end of the match in person and via Zoom. A player from the losing team will come in first, followed by a player from the winning team. A few players from each team will also be available for short stand-up interviews in the Mixed Zone, shortly after the press conferences have concluded.

Press conference and filming information
- Press conferences at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 will generally follow a hybrid model where apart from those attending in person, media persons will also be able to log on remotely via Zoom (as per details given above). Some media conferences may also be conducted remotely only via Zoom. Please ensure you are logged on five minutes prior to the start times of the press conferences.
- Non-Rights Holders are allowed to film match day-1 press conferences but no filming is allowed inside the venues on match days. Videos shot at venues on match day -1 may only be used on news channels and websites for editorial purposes and are not to be natively posted on any social media channels.
- The ICC will upload unedited press conference clips onto the Online Media Zone. The footage from press conferences, whether provided by the ICC or shot by the media themselves, may only be used on news channels and websites for editorial purposes and are not to be natively posted on any social media channels.
- All press conferences will be live streamed via ICC Facebook.
