Media Information for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 – Thursday 27 October
The following is the schedule of media opportunities on Thursday 27 October at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 in Sydney, Perth and Melbourne.

ICC Hall of Fame
On Tuesday 8 November 2022, the ICC will be hosting the ICC Hall of Fame Class of 2022 Evening Reception, to celebrate the newest inductees into the ICC Hall of Fame which will be announced publicly earlier that day.
The event will be held at the Sydney Cricket Ground from 17h00 local time and will see us reflect on the glittering careers of the three inductees, all of whom made a remarkable impact on the game. Drinks and canapes will be served before the legends talk with us on stage about their careers, highlights and their reactions to being inducted into the Hall of Fame.
There are a limited number of spaces available to accredited media at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. If you are interested in attending, please register your interest by emailing callum.davies@icc-cricket.com
Sydney
South Africa and Bangladesh play their Group 2 match at the Sydney Cricket Ground at 14h00 local time (Australian Eastern Daylight Time), followed by the Netherlands versus India match at 18h00. The teams will hold their post-match media conferences about 15 minutes after the end of the match in person and via Zoom. A player from the losing team will come in first, followed by a player from the winning team. A few players from each team will also be available for short stand-up interviews in the Mixed Zone, shortly after the press conferences have concluded.

Perth
Pakistan and Zimbabwe play their Group 2 at the Perth Stadium on Thursday 27 October at 19h00 local time (Australian Western Standard Time). The teams will hold their post-match media conferences about 15 minutes after the end of the match in person and via Zoom. A player from the losing team will come in first, followed by a player from the winning team. A few players from each team will also be available for short stand-up interviews in the Mixed Zone, shortly after the press conferences have concluded.

MelbourneIn Group 1 of the Super 12 of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022, Afghanistan play Ireland at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on Friday, 28 October at 15h00 local time (Australian Eastern Daylight Time), followed by the Australia versus England match at 19h00.
On Thursday, 27 October:
- Afghanistan will be training at the Junction Oval between 10h00 and 13h00. They will hold their pre-match press conference at the Yarra Park Room, Level 3, MCG (entry through Gate 3B), in person and via Zoom at 13h15
- England will be training at the MCG between 10h00 and 13h00. They will hold their pre-match press conference at the Yarra Park Room, Level 3, MCG (entry through Gate 3B) in person and via Zoom at 09h30.
- Australia will be training at the Junction Oval between 14h00 and 17h00. They will hold their pre-match press conference at the MCG, in person and via Zoom, at 12h30.
- Ireland will be training at the MCG between 14h00 and 17h00. They will hold their pre-match press conference at the Yarra Park Room, Level 3, MCG (entry through Gate 3B), in person and via Zoom at 13h45.

Press conference and filming information ****
- Press conferences at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 will generally follow a hybrid model where apart from those attending in person, media persons will also be able to log on remotely via Zoom (as per details given above). Some media conferences may also be conducted remotely only via Zoom. Please ensure you are logged on five minutes prior to the start times of the press conferences.
- Non-Rights Holders are allowed to film match day-1 press conferences but no filming is allowed inside the venues on match days. Videos shot at venues on match day -1 may only be used on news channels and websites for editorial purposes and are not to be natively posted on any social media channels.
- The ICC will upload unedited press conference clips onto the Online Media Zone. The footage from press conferences, whether provided by the ICC or shot by the media themselves, may only be used on news channels and websites for editorial purposes and are not to be natively posted on any social media channels.
- All press conferences will be live streamed via ICC Facebook.

- ICC Men’s T20 World Cup media accreditation allows access for all media on match day -1, even if you are unsuccessful for match day approval you are still able to attend match day -1.
