Media Information for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 – Wednesday 19 October
The following is the schedule of media opportunities on Wednesday, 19 October at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 in Geelong, Hobart and Brisbane.
Hobart
Scotland and Ireland play their Group B match at Bellerive Oval in Hobart at 15h00 local time, followed by the West Indies versus the Zimbabwe match at 19h00 local time. The teams will hold their post-match media conferences about 15 minutes after the end of the match. A player from the losing team will come in first, followed by a player from the winning team. A few players from each team will also be available for short stand-up interviews in the Mixed Zone, shortly after the press conferences have concluded.

Geelong
In Group A of the First Round of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, Netherlands play Sri Lanka on Thursday, 20 October at 15h00 local time, followed by Namibia versus the United Arab Emirates match at 19h00 local time.
On Wednesday, 19 October:
- Namibia will be training between 10h00 and 13h00 at the Geelong Cricket Club/Kardinia West Oval. They will hold their pre-match press conference at the Kardinia Park Stadium Press Conference Room at 13h00.
- The Netherlands will be training between 10h00 and 13h00 at the Kardinia Park. They will hold their pre-match press conference at the Kardinia Park Stadium Press Conference Room at 13h15.
- Sri Lanka will be training between 14h00 and 17h00 at the Kardinia Park. They will hold their pre-match press conference at the Kardinia Park Stadium Press Conference Room at 13h30
- The United Arab Emirates will be training between 14h00 and 17h00 at the Geelong Cricket Club/Kardinia West Oval. They will hold their pre-match press conference at the Kardinia Park Press Conference Room at 13h45.

Brisbane – Warm-up matches
- Afghanistan and Pakistan play their ICC Men’s T20 World Cup warm-up match at The Gabba, Brisbane at 14h00 local time.
- Bangladesh and South Africa play their ICC Men’s T20 World Cup warm-up match at Allan Border Field, Brisbane at 19h00 local time.
- New Zealand and India play their ICC Men’s T20 World Cup warm-up match at The Gabba, Brisbane at 19h00 local time.
There will be no official media engagements at warm-up matches.
Press conference and filming information
- Press conferences at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 will generally follow a hybrid model where apart from those attending in person, media persons will also be able to log on remotely via Zoom (as per details given above). Some media conferences may also be conducted remotely only via Zoom. Please ensure you are logged on five minutes prior to the start times of the press conferences.
- Non-Rights Holders are allowed to film match day-1 press conferences but no filming is allowed inside the venues on match days.
- The ICC will upload unedited press conference clips onto the Online Media Zone. The footage from press conferences, whether provided by the ICC or shot by the media themselves, may only be used on news channels and websites for editorial purposes and are not to be natively posted on any social media channels.
- All press conferences will be live streamed via ICC Facebook.
