Media Information for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 – Wednesday 26 October
The following is the schedule of media opportunities on Wednesday 26 October at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth.
Melbourne ****
England and Ireland play their Group 1 match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground at 15h00 local time (Australian Eastern Daylight Time), followed by Afghanistan versus New Zealand match at 19h00. The teams will hold their post-match media conferences about 15 minutes after the end of the match in person and via Zoom. A player from the losing team will come in first, followed by a player from the winning team. A few players from each team will also be available for short stand-up interviews in the Mixed Zone, shortly after the press conferences have concluded.
Accredited media should use Gate 3b for entry.

Sydney
In Group 2 of the Super 12 of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022, South Africa play Bangladesh at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on Thursday 27 October at 14h00 local time (Australian Eastern Daylight Time), followed by the Netherlands versus India match at 19h00.
On Wednesday 26 October:
- India have cancelled their training and will hold their pre-match press conference in the Press Conference Room at the Sydney Cricket Ground (basement level of Noble Stand) in person and via Zoom at 11h00.
- South Africa will train at the Sydney Cricket Ground between 12h00 and 15h00. They will hold their pre-match press conference in person in the Press Conference Room (basement level of Noble Stand) and via Zoom at 14h30.
- Bangladesh will train at the Sydney Cricket Ground between 09h00 and 12h00. They will hold their pre-match press conference in person in the Press Conference Room (basement level of Noble Stand) and via Zoom at 12h00.
- Netherlands will train at the Sydney Cricket Ground between 16h30 and 19h30. They will hold their pre-match press conference in person in the Press Conference Room (basement level of Noble Stand) and via Zoom at 16h00.

Perth ****
In Group 2 of the Super 12 of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022, Pakistan play Zimbabwe at the Perth Stadium on Thursday 27 October at 19h00 local time (Australian Western Standard Time).
On Wednesday 26 October:
- Pakistan will hold an optional training session at the Perth Stadium between 11h00 and 12h30. They will hold their pre-match press conference in person and via Zoom at 12h00.
- Zimbabwe will train at the Perth Stadium between 14h00-17h00 and 18h00 to 20h00 under lights. They will hold their pre-match press conference in person and via Zoom at 13h30.****

Press conference and filming information ****
- Press conferences at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 will generally follow a hybrid model where apart from those attending in person, media persons will also be able to log on remotely via Zoom (as per details given above). Some media conferences may also be conducted remotely only via Zoom. Please ensure you are logged on five minutes prior to the start times of the press conferences.
- Non-Rights Holders are allowed to film match day-1 press conferences but no filming is allowed inside the venues on match days. Videos shot at venues on match day -1 may only be used on news channels and websites for editorial purposes and are not to be natively posted on any social media channels.
- The ICC will upload unedited press conference clips onto the Online Media Zone. The footage from press conferences, whether provided by the ICC or shot by the media themselves, may only be used on news channels and websites for editorial purposes and are not to be natively posted on any social media channels.
- All press conferences will be live streamed via ICC Facebook.
