Following the game, both teams will provide a player to speak to press pitchside. Media will not be allowed to film this interaction.

Cricket 4 Good

Buffalo Park in East London – Afghanistan and Nepal will be taking part in ICC Cricket 4 Good sessions with local schoolchildren. Afghanistan’s session commences at 12:30pm (30 minutes), before Nepal’s session at 1:00pm (30 minutes).

Cricket 4 Good is the ICC’s social impact initiative delivered in partnership with global charity partner UNICEF, aiming to improve lives around the world through cricket. It involves participating teams engaging with local schoolchildren through a series of cricket clinics. Media are able to film and take photographs of these sessions subject to usual ICC regulations (i.e. no longer than 10 minutes of footage can be captured, and can only be used on TV or on websites – footage cannot posted natively on social media channels).

Reminders for media:

  • The ICC Online Media Zone will feature a host of rights-free content for media. Imagery, daily reports and post-match media interactions will be made available on the platform soon after the end of the game. Content obtained from the OMZ can be used on news channels and websites only (they cannot be posted natively on social media).

  • No filming is allowed inside tournament venues on match days. Non-Rights Holder camerapersons will not be granted access to matchdays as per the Accreditation Terms and Conditions for the event.

  • If any footage is captured of team training sessions, it will be subject to time limits as outlined in the Accreditation Terms and conditions (linked above), and must only be used on news channels and websites for editorial purposes and is not to be natively posted on any social media channels including YouTube.

  • Photographers are expected to wear their bibs at all times and will only be permitted to shoot matchdays from designated areas as informed by the relevant Media Manager.
