The following is the schedule of media opportunities on Monday, 25 October at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021:

Sharjah

  • Afghanistan and Scotland play their Group 2 match of the Super 12s in Sharjah on Monday at 18h00 local time. The teams will hold their post-match media conferences about 15 minutes after the end of the match.
  • Pakistan and New Zealand play their Group 2 match of the Super 12s in Sharjah on Tuesday. Pakistan will not be holding a training session but will hold their pre-match press conference with Vernon Philander from 15h00 local time. This press conference will be held remotely only, meaning there will be no in-person attendance for media at the press conference. Please use the Sharjah zoom link shared below to access.
  • New Zealand will hold a training session between 18h00-21h00 at the ICC Academy, Dubai and they will hold their pre-match press conference at the Dubai International Stadium with Kane Williamson at 17h30 local time. In person attendance is permitted for those who apply beforehand. Details on how to apply to attend are below. Dubai (Training in Abu Dhabi)

  • South Africa and the West Indies play their Group 1 match of the Super 12s in Dubai on Tuesday at 14h00 local time. On Monday, the West Indies will train at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi between 14h00-17h00 and will hold their pre-match press conference from 14h00. South Africa will also train at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi from 14h00-17h00 and will hold their pre-match press conference at 17h00 local time. Both conferences will be available on the Dubai Zoom link below.

Some other points to note:

For anyone who is yet to collect their media gift bags, you are welcome to collect from the Dubai International Stadium between 12-2pm tomorrow.

Media interactions are being held on a hybrid model, allowing a limited number of journalists to join in person with the global media allowed to join remotely. Those joining remotely, please login ahead of expected time of media interactions.

Media may only be allowed in pre-match day practice sessions. They can’t attend all practice sessions during the tournament.

NRH camerapersons are not allowed at the pre-match media conferences and will not get match-day accreditation. Press conference clips will be uploaded on the Online Media Zone for TV channels and websites only. These cannot be shared on any Social Media platforms. Filming is not allowed inside venues on match days.

Reporters wanting to attend any media conference need to produce proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of attending a match at any venue. This is an event requirement, and the ICC has arranged for these tests. More about this can be found in our advisoryhere.
